GM "Melik", born in Baku, Azerbaijan moved to the United States in 2001 and earned the Grandmaster Title in 2006. He is one of the original members of the Vibe and has been with the team since its inception in 2010. In 2011 he lead the team to the USCL Semifinals, scoring on Board 1 in many critical matches.

IM Andranik Matikozyan
Andranik is one of the original members of the Vibe, being with the team since the start in 2010. So far he has performed very well, with a perfomance rating of 2649, helping the Vibe reach the Western Division Finals in 2011. IM Zhanibek Amanov
"Zhani" immigrated to the United States from Kazakhstan in 2010 and joined the L.A. Vibe for the 2011 season. A fantastic addition indeed, with a performance rating of 2608, in his first season with the team he scored some great victories over GM Sadorra, GM Bhat, and IM Bercys to help the team reach the playoffs for the very first time.

FM Keaton Kiewra
Keaton is one of a few new additions to the L.A. Vibe this year, having previously played for the Dallas Destiny. We are looking forward to seeing what he can do, and we hope he'll prove to be a valuable addition to a team that went deep into the playoffs last year.
WGM Tatev Abrahamyan
Tatev was one of the original members of the L.A. Vibe and is one of the top female chess players in the United States. Her record in the league so far has been stellar, with many wins over strong players.

FM Kostya Kavutskiy
Kostya was one of the orignal members of the L.A. Vibe and has been the manager of the team since the 2011 season. He is also in charge of public relations, running the team Blog, facebook, and twitter page. His record so far has been solid, and he hopes to help the Vibe reach the playoffs for the second year in a row.
FM Michael Casella
Michael has been with the team since the beginning, and is returning for the 2012 season. He has been a reliable player thus far, and will be key to the Vibe returning to the playoffs this season. Please check out Michael's exciting game from last year's opener:

FM Harutyan Akopyan
FM Eugene Yanayt
Eugene is also one of the original members of the Vibe, helping the team since 2010. His record with the team has been quite good so far, with a lifetime performance rating of 2418.
Nicky Korba
Nicky is the third addition to the L.A. Vibe this year, and we are very excited to have him on board. A rapidly improving player, Nicky's rating has grown over 500 points since last summer. We welcome him to the team and hope he will have a successful first season!
